At 9:17 on May 16, 2022, accompanied by a burst of cheerful and crisp firecrackers, the phase II of Fujian Changde Grain & Oil Group (Fujian Xingyu Company) with an annual output of 80,000 tons of soybean protein concentrate (SPC)production line located in Fuqing Yuanhong investment zone, Fuzhou, Fujian was officially put into operation(contract signing report of this project). After nearly a month of continuous and stable operation, all economic and technical indicators have reached or exceeded the contract, and it has been officially delivered to customers for production and operation.
This production line is by far the largest single-line production line for feed-grade soybean protein concentrates (Alcohol Method)in the world. Using alcohol concentration process, applying super-large Drag Chain Extractor, new Vacuum Dryer, intelligent multi-effect Evaporation and Concentration System and independent open one-stop intelligent operation system, soybeans are peeled, degreased, desugared, dried, and crushed to obtain protein content Greater than 65% high-quality protein products. Feed-grade protein concentrate is widely used as high-quality vegetable protein in the feed formulas of suckling pigs, aquatic products, young birds, calves, and pets. The smooth operation of the production line has ensured the demand for high-quality and safe protein for coastal and inland aquaculture industries in southern China, such as Fujian, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Guangdong, and made due corporate and social contributions to promoting the internal circulation of the regional economy, ensuring supply and increasing income, stabilizing the market, and benefiting agriculture, rural areas, and farmers. Compared with the 40,000 tons of soybean protein concentrated production line of phase I of Fujian Changde Grain & Oil Group (Fujian Xingyu Company), this production line has realized intelligent operation, digital management, intrinsic safety, and product flexibility; the energy and mass balance design of the whole process is adopted, the system energy is fully recycled, the unit energy consumption reaches the critical balance point of the process, and the output and comprehensive energy consumption are at the international leading level.
The project took two years from site selection, planning, design, and construction to installation, commissioning, and production. Over the past two years, the two sides have overcome the adverse impact of the COVID-19 on the project construction, cooperated tacitly, carefully planned, carefully constructed, rigorously commissioned, and delivered flawlessly, summarizing experience and setting a model for the construction and management of projects in the post-COVID-19 era.
